Located south of Route 28 in the village of Centerville, this project involved a raze and rebuild of the primary residence along with the new construction of an accessory dwelling unit (ADU). The result is a thoughtfully designed mid-century modern property that blends architectural clarity with modern construction methods.

Mullen Building partnered with Lindal Homes to deliver a design-forward residence inspired by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. The home emphasizes strong horizontal lines, open interior spaces, and a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living—hallmarks of classic midcentury modern architecture.

The project presented unique permitting challenges, as the homeowners elected to construct the ADU first while final design development for the primary residence was still underway. Careful coordination and sequencing were required to move the project forward while navigating regulatory approvals and evolving design parameters.
