A unique feature of the project reflects the homeowners’ personal interests. As a musician and guitar collector, the client requested a custom way to display their instruments. Mullen Building’s in-house carpenters designed and built a bespoke guitar display system that integrates seamlessly into the space while showcasing the collection as functional art.
The renovation began with grinding and sealing the existing concrete floor, creating a clean, durable foundation with a contemporary look and feel. To complement the modern aesthetic, a custom metal railing system—fabricated by one of Mullen Building’s trusted metal partners— was installed, adding both visual interest and functionality.
The finished basement now includes a bedroom, full bathroom, home office, and a dedicated entertaining area, offering flexible space for both everyday use and hosting guests.
