Hyannis Port Cottage

Hyannisport, MA

What began as a remodel of this 4-bedroom, 3-bath, cottage changed direction early in pre-construction, when we found the existing foundation structurally compromised. Rather than build a new home on a footing that couldn't support it, Mullen recommended a full teardown and rebuild, giving the homeowners a clean start instead of a renovation with a compromised base.

Working with Michael Jimerson Architecture & Interiors, the team rebuilt the cottage with a modern coastal aesthetic, pairing classic Cape Cod styling with clean-lined interior finishes throughout.
