Located in the **village of Osterville**, this remodel began during the **COVID-19 pandemic,** when the homeowners were navigating remote work and homeschooling with children at home full time. The project was driven by a need for **organization, efficiency, and flexible space** to support daily routines in a changing environment.

Space was reallocated from the existing garage to create a highly functional **multi-purpose room** that includes **two dedicated desks,** extensive **custom storage**, and a fully integrated **laundry area**. A l**aundry sink overlooking the backyard** brings natural light into the space, while careful planning ensured every inch was used efficiently.

Custom cabinetry was designed and built by **Kitchen Creations of West Yarmouth**, with an emphasis on maximizing storage and workflow. Features include a **pull-out ironing board**, **pullout drying rack**, integrated **dog bed**, and purpose-built storage—ensuring no detail was overlooked in supporting learning, organization, and household needs.

In the basement, the homeowners envisioned a **sleek, modern home gym.** Working with **Top Coat Services USA of Hyannis,** the concrete floors were **ground and sealed** for a clean, durable finish. Mullen Building’s in-house carpenters installed **shiplap accent walls**, and **backlit mirrors** were added to enhance both function and atmosphere. The space is **fully heated and cooled with a ductless HVAC system**, making it comfortable year-round.
